Does sleeping to much make you feel tired?!
Question: Interestingly enough you are correct, it does. There has been some work done, mainly in teenagers, who complain of constant tiredness, sleep for more than 8 hours, and yet appear to have no medical problem on investigation.
They were given a trial of reducing sleep to a maximum of 8 hours, and some become much less tired and more energetic.

Yes, its really bad for you if you do it all the time.
Regularity is the keyword ! Go to sleep and get up at regular hours. Alcohol diminishes the quality of sleep. Less than 5 and more than 9 hours are not good for your system. Normally 6-7 hours is enough for an adult, but since sleeping can feel so good many try to sleep around 8 hours.
Yes but this is because you end up getting the wrong kind of sleep and end up tired and lethargic and ratty all day!
Absolutely! The more you sleep, the more you want to. And when you finally get up, you are likely to feel pain in your back and legs.
Scientists say we should sleep at least 8 hours a day, but it depends on each one.
I must have my 8 hour sleeping period, otherwise, I get tired all day long.

Yes and it depends on how much you end up sleeping
You sleep to restore energy. Like everyone else said, you want between 8 and 10 hours. Anything more will start to use up the energy you gained and start to burn that energy. This is because you havnt eaten for a long period of time so your stomache burns up energy. When you wake up you feel a dramatic change in your body causing you to stay in bed and continue to sleep.
