Tips on falling asleep faster in the morning i work graveyard shift 2am-11am?!

Try some Wave CD's or dream CD's. It seems like it wouldn't help to have more noise, but these helped me a lot! You drift right off to sleep. Also make sure there is no light coming in your room, get really heavy curtains and pin them shut. Make sure it is pitch black. Last, make sure you are really comfy, with comfy pajamas, clean sheets. etc. Hope this helps!

Make the room as dark as possible. Use very heavy drapes or better yet, put cardboard or the like in the window to block out light. Turn the phone off so it can't ring. When you get home, don't go to be immediately. Don't work around the house or anything, though; do something relaxing for a half hour or so and then turn in.

Cover your window with black cloth to darken your room,drink warm milk optional and play your favorite music in a low sound level ,and clear your mind, how to do it ? Focus on an imaginary dot. I have been into 11 p to 7 a graveyard shift I don't injoy it, but these trick helps. You are lucky you work straight shift, I work alternate swing and day shift. Good Luck..

Buy some really dark, heavy curtains to block out the light and keep the room dark. It will resemble nightime. Also, try buying a foam top for your mattress and some sheets with a higher thread count. That will make your bed really soft and comfortable. If noise from outside is a problem buy a fan or one of those mood-soothing cd's. Hope this helps! I can never sleep during the day either...
