Help I've been throwing up all day.?!


Question: I didn't ate anything for the whole day since I felt like throwing up. After seeing dinner I throw up and been throwing up by every couple of minutes. I can't take it anymore! PLEASE HELP!

You have a serious stomach bug and you need to let it run its course. Your stomach will likely eject anything you put in it - so lay off for now. When you do feel up to drinking something - I suggest either room temperature water or room temperature flat gingerale (ginger is known to settle the stomach). When you feel up to eating something - try the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce & toast). I would also suggest going to the doctor just to make sure it isn't anything more serious - especially if you have alot of other symptoms (fever, diarrhea, dehydration, etc.). Hope you feel better soon.

Get to a doctor -- if you've been sick to your stomach that long and can't keep down even fluids, then you're likely already dehydrated and only going to get more so.

i personally know what you mean. you may have the stomache bug. if your hungry or just need something in you, try drinking some ginger ale. bubbley helps. and pepermints soothe a sour stomache. and try to stay hydrated. if you cant drink water without barfing, try sucking little ice cubes. and try to not think of food. it makes your taste buds go crazy and then your throught tightens causeing you to regergitate. so, stay away from the kitchen for awhile. feel better!

u probably have a form of stomach flu...keep drinkin water, or gatorade, and chicken soup for the protien...let it run its course, and go with the flow....more than about 5 days, go to your doc....

stay away from food till the nausea is gone. stay hydrated with room temperature fluids and popsicles. wash your hands better.

Try this, it will help the nausea.

After tossing and turning trying to find a position where I didn't feel like I was going to hurl, I found that lying on the floor or a bed on my back with my legs at about 45 degrees propped up on the wall helped tremendously. Almost immediate relief of nausea. Don't ask me why. I've never heard of this technique, I just discovered it through trial and error. But over the next 3 days, whenever I felt like I was going to barf, I got in that position and immediately felt better.
