It is because your sleep pattern (or your biological clock) was disturbed. You body will produce Sleep hormone (Melatonin) in pineal gland to signals the time to go to sleep.

Once your biological clock has disturbed, it will take some time to "reset".

What I think is you better get back to your normal sleeping pattern to "reset" your biological clock.

For your information, the Sleep hormone (Melatonin) might affect your memory (make you forgot).

Get some good sleep...

You should feel better after a several hours, you body is adjusting to the normal condition in which had been irregular from loss of sleep. You can go back to sleep for a several more hours, 7-hour doesn't seem enough to me. Eat or drink something warm such as soup or cocoa. Hope you feel better !

You have different sleep cycles. If you wake in the middle of one you don't feel rested

depends on your activity levels. plus 7 hours is not alot of sleep depending on quality. also water levels and nutrition come into play. and your sleep pattern would have been out of sync because your body would not have been used to it.

conclusion - its complicated. soldier on!
