Strained Muscle healing?!

Question: Okay, so I have a strained muscle and I've been letting the strain rest and not over working for about 3 weeks. I have to walk to and from school 4 times a day, because I come home for lunch, still do gym class ect. So I can only let it rest so much.
I can feel it getting better, but now i feel like I've been sitting in a car for 4 hours. It feels all cramped and tired.
Is this supposed to happen?

Stretch the muscle (gently - slowly) and then compress it - like an easy yoga exercise. Just to or a little past the point where you can feel it hurting again. This is great therapy for muscle strains and helps them heal faster. This is what they do in physical therapy. Move it!

Do some stretching exercises.

stretch it slowly...and watch the gym class no quick motion or jumps.

stretch it

Needs rest. but the activity has probably been good for it.
