Legs stiffness, can anyone help me out?!

Question: I have been experiencing pain in my knee about every other day.I also have stiff sore legs in the morning and find it difficult to walk.My legs get so cold sometimes it hurts right down to the bone. When I was younger I also had a few problems like if I sat on the floor for a bit and tried to get up I couldnt feel my legs and when I would take a step I would fall down.I just marked it as poor circulation.I take tylenol 650mg about everday and have complained of the knee pain they prescribed me naproxen and it doesnt seem to do anything. The heating pads and blankets are my best friend but dont always take the stiffness or soreness away.Has anyone had these same problems? How did you deal with it and was you diagnosed with anything? What test can be done to tell me what is going on?Can bloodtest tell me or x-ray?I cant afford any expensive testing, your opinions are welcome thanks.

well some experiences I had as a kid, when we would have assemblies at school, we would sit down for long periods of time and when I got up the same thing would happen to me, the problem is there is a cutoff of blood flow to your lower extremities and when you finally get up the sensation can bring you to your knees, that is a lack of blood oxidization to your muscles.

now for your knee pain, it could be many things, simple arthritis to bursitis.

what I really want you to learn is that heating during pain can really make it alot worse. when you experience pain in your joints such as your knee you need to put a cold pack on there because of these reasons:

1: when you put heat on an affected muscle or joint area it will inhibit vein dialation and cause inflammation in your joints which will be painful. what you need to do is do a cold compression, which means wrapping a cold pack on your knees with a wrap around it. not only will this contract you veins but it will also inhibit inflammation which will make you feel better in the morning.

the rule of thumb to go by is if it is muscle or joint pain you put cold on it, if it is an open wound you put heat on it to prevent exudate materials from deveopling (pus)

to educate you, if you put on heat to a muscle or joint injury it will have adverse affects on your body as opposed the positives will have, such as putting cold on it.

that is why you are experiencing your problems. instead of comfortable heat, try ising cold packs. It will feel very uncomfortable at first but in the morning your symptoms will diminish.

yes i to have the same problems/ maybe different causes. mine is due to a thing called counter couprinol and couprenol leasons. this is where a whip lash sort of movement throughs the brain inside your head and although there are no physical signs on your body your legs arnt yours (if you know what i mean). scans, x rays wont show nerve damage. Thats my case scinario anyway dont take it as being yours but it might be worth discussing with your doc if youve had any bad bangs to the head
