Having trouble breathing....sort of breath....?!

Question: I posted thsi before but I think in the wrong part of yahoo answers...
this is the 2nd day where I have about 10mins where its like i'm having a hard time breathing....like when your nervous and can't breath. I just try to relax and in 10mins or so i'm ok. its not like my nose is plugged.....feels like the trouble is coming from behind my nose, rather then my chest? Maybe the trouble is from my chest?
Last week i was having chest pains from what I think it was from stress....then i had a great unstressful weekend and no more chest pains.
I'm thinking this breathing is from stress too? should I go to the doc? I have alot of stress from planning our wedding and job has been very stressful with moving me to different departments.
what can I do to feel better with breathing?
thanks

Honestly, it sounds like panic attacks due to stress from your wedding. It's probably hard to breathe because your are mildly hyperventilating because of the panic attacks. You should defiantly look up some stress relieving techniques to cope with the pressure you're under.

Could be anxiety, I had a similar problem.

I agree. Sounds like anxiety. If it is anxiety it is in your mind. Go to a quiet place, relax and do some deep breathing. You can control it.
If this doesn't help, I would call your doctor.

Yes.My 17 year old son was having chest pains and shortness of breath come to find out he had a collapsed lung it was 25% collapsed. All he did was bend over and it collapsed. So I would check it out.

This is probably worth an appointment with your doctor. I agree that it sounds like anxiety / panic issues, but those are sort of conditions that get diagnosed when other more serious causes have been ruled out. Stress can also trigger angina attacks, which can cause chest pain and shortness of breath. And relaxing will usually relieve angina. So it's worth talking to your doctor about that so you can rule out angina. (especially if you have any risk factors like being overweight, smoking, family history of heart disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, etc).
