This is most probably something called 'benign fasciculations' or tics. They are usually completely normal in healthly people and the cause is not clearly understood, although various ideas have been suggested, such as a mineral defficiency (eg calcium). Ecstasy may have been involved, but my guess that it is more likely to be due to tiredness. Tired people predispose themselves to benign fasciculations and they often resolve spontaneously with a night or two of good sleep.
Possibly, It depends on what you took.
Perhaps you need a magnesium supplement.
