Someone With Medical Knowledge, Please Help!?!

Question: ok...alittle about me. Im 16 im in very good shape. im about 5'9'' and 125 lbs. i run everyday. im on the track team and i eat pretty good and balanced diet.

3 days ago, i was going to the bathroom...taking a dump and it felt alittle sore. again that night....same thing...felt sore. so i felt with my hand, i guess near my anus, sortof in alittle... alittle lump, size of maybe lik a pensil eraser. and it was alittle sensitive. and it also wasnt hard..... then i tried looking in the mirror but its hard to get a good angle... but it looked kinda white.

Other then the mild discomfort, there is no pain...but i dont know wat it is...and im kinda scared, but not really....should i wait a few more days be4 doing something about it or should i seek medical attentiopn right way. im not sure if its an infection....hemroid...pollip...im not sure.

Please any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

My first thought would be that it is an external hemorrhoid. This are usually accompanied by painful bowel movements and bright red blood in association with your feces. Most people have hemorrhoids at some point over the course of their lives. I would recommend increasing your water intake, fiber in take (fruits and veggies) and perhaps adding a stool softener such as surfak to help ease the passage of a hard stool and thus less irritation of the hemorrhoid.

The small knot that you are feeling on your anus is a swollen blood vessel. Topical creams such as Preparation H can ease the itching or swelling associated with irritation. I recommend suppositories as they work better than the cream, but some people are uncomfortable with the required insertion. Another cheaper way to alleviate strain on the area whilst having a bowel movement is to apply petroleum jelly to your anus prior to having a bowel movement. This will ease the friction between your fecal matter and the inflamed tissue.

This sort of thing usually resolves on its own but it is important to treat the hard stool that was the impetus to the development of the hemorrhoid. Try to avoid sitting for long periods of time, diets low in fiber and dehydrating drinks. In addition try to limit your time spent on the commode and try not to strain if you are having a slow bowel movement. Hard stools can result in much more serious problems. The hemorrhoids, while you will never be rid of them are easily endured.
Good Luck!

It sounds like a hemorrhoid...try some preparation-H. If that doesn't help, you might want to talk to your doctor.

Sounds as if you may have Hemmorhoids...this is not a terrible thing...they can be resolved...Learn to take care with you BM(bowel movements) If constipation is a problem, simply add a bit more roughage to your daily diet...more grain, fruits & veggies...In the meantime during anal flare_ups...simply apply Preperation_H...

i doubt its hemroids, it would hurt, itch or burn, could just be an ingrown hair. but it doesn't clear in a couple days go to the doctors

Sounds like a chigger bite, try putting ice bottles on it and get some aloe vera gel to wipe with.
Rinse it good with cold water also.
