Embarrassing question, cuts on vagina?!

Question: Well a little while ago it was kind of itchy, so I obviously rubbed at it, trying to get it to go away. (It happens every now and then, it;s pretty normal for me) Well, a second ago it felt like it was burning. I looked, and I realized that I have about 5 little cuts on the inside of my lip. Now, you know how when you have chapped lips (the ones on your mouth) and then you smile and sometimes they'll crack? That's exactly wheat happened. What can I do for the burning? Serious answers only please. I know, it;s disgusting, I don't need to be told that.

I wouldn't suggest using an antibacterial cream or ointment in that area. The over the counter antibiotic ointments can be irritating and if you do have a yeast infection the antibiotic ointment may kill off the natural bacteria which is fighting the yeast. Use a petroleum jelly or Aquaphor or a cream or ointment designed for that area, such as Vagisil. If you are scratching because you are dry in that area, there are several products on the market that can help you in that regard.

Tham go to the doctor asap... KNowone like dry lips.... i mean no man lol.......

You should try a neosporin or a diaper rash cream! Make sure it is only a topical application and not inside!

It also sounds like you could have a slight yeast infection! I would go to the doctor and get yourself checked!

I've heard of a lot more disgusting things than that.

Go to the drugstore and get some kind of vaginal cream. Maybe even vaseline would help?

Go to the doctor! You have an infection of some kind. You need antibiotics ASAP!

It very likely could be a virus, I've had similar symptoms before they only get worse without treatment. Definitely go in to be checked, your doctor can help. Good luck.

you do need to see a doctor for this,is there a possibility that its herpes

Your problem is that your ***** is itchy enough to need to scratch at it. Get to the gyn doc and have her take a look and a sample. Creams may stop the immediate problem, but it sounds like you need the cause stopped, not the symptoms. It's been going on too long!
