Answers: hydrocodone apap 7.5/500 mg on the label, how strong is that? will i have withdrawals? what is hydrocodone exactly?

Hydrocodone has 500mg of acetaminophen, so be careful not to take other over the counter meds with this same type of medication included.

7.5 mg is given when you have medium to severe pain but again it depends on your weight, height, metabolism, etc. and other medications you are currently on to determine the strength of this dosage.

If you are in moderate pain & your MD prescibed this to help your pain then my suggestion is take it as directed, but if this was not prescribed by your MD then put in directly into the kitchen sink and hit the grind button.

Withdrawals happen "normally" after extended use (10 days plus), depends on how many a person takes per day to say how quickly or if at all, any withdrawals symptoms will occur.

The condone, is codeine which is a pain reliever & is the addicting part of this medication.

Life is about the decisions & the choices we make, so make the best decision for yourself.

Since with these types of meds once someone takes the first one, they find themselves unable to stop taken them easily & in time quitting becomes the hardest decision/ choice they will have to make and that I do not wish on anyone.

It is synthetic codeine. Codeine is from the opium poppy, and is a more refined form than opium, Hydrocodone is synthetic and laboratory made. In general, the synthetic narcotics are more potent than the natural ones and they tend to make more people sick from allergic reactions, although people who can't take codeine because they're allergic to it often can take hydrocodone instead.

Do you have a prescription for this drug ? if you weren't prescribed this drug, I strongly advise that you don't take it for getting high! Some people are so allergic to hydrocodone that they can die from it. Don't mess around with it. It is highly addictive, more so than opium or codeine, and for some it very hard to quit once they start. Pharmaceutical pill addictions are some of the worst and hardest to treat or beat.

Can you share why you are taking this drug please?
