This is kinda a stupid question. burns and chemicals..............?!

Question: well i just burned my knuckle on the cooker (electric and didnt realise the hob had been left on and i caught it with knuckle)
so ive treated it like a normal burn and it was fine.
but i had to clean the floor and accidentally splashed flash floor cleaner over my hands. this was about an hour ago.

now about every fifteen min it feels like my knuckle is really hot and painfull.
ive washed it under tap numerous times, it tkes the pain and heat away. but it keeps coming back.

what should i do. please dont say docs, cause its just not possible today.

With burns you need to lower the temperature (at least 10 minutes under the cold tap or an ice pack for as long as you can) and then keep air off the site with a dressing - the air irritates the exposed nerve ending. Arnica is good for burns.

Id try some peroxide or alcohol, to make sure its clean

put ice on it and keep putting ice on it.

You should treat it with an antiseptic cleaner just in case there is some chemicles in it, that should be fine but be careful not to get anything else in it.

There is nothing you can really do . Aloe vera gel is always good but only time will stop it from hurting. As long as you washed it and ran it under cold water for 10 minutes you'll live.

The detergent has irritated the burn. Time will heal it. If you can, put a light dressing on it so you don't get anything else in it. An antiseptic gel like Acriflex will soothe it.

first like but ice on it and some neosporin or sumthin then put some gozz so that wont happen agian

Is your burn blistered/open? What does the bottle say about contact with an open wound? If you didn't get a blister or the bottle doesn't say anything about contact with open wounds then you'll be fine.

Under NO circumstances should you ever put alcohol or peroxide on it. It will burn more if you do.

Just keep bathing it with water or ice and try to get some burn cream from your local chemist as this will help to sooth the pain and inflammation.

Do not put butter on it either! That is an old wives tale. Butter will do no good.

EDIT It does not sound serious then if it has not blistered so that is good. I would treat with burn cream and cold compress.
