usually if there is a scar from a mild burn it will go away with time. you can apply vitamin e oil or just keep putting a moisturizing lotion to it. It will go away soon it just takes time.
If it is a freash burn that just happened apply ice but if it is a scar that happend like yesterday then go ahead with what I suggested. Never apply anything but ice or very cold water to a fresh burn.

It wont be a scar..that happends sometimes to people....put ice. dont touch it...and yeaa thats about it..my mom tells my that..dont touch it or it gets worst

use neosporin, and burn relief stuff.

then you might not have a scar

I always use aloe vera from the plant if I have it. They have it in gel form at most stores. Aloe Vera keeps burns from scarring.

more then likely there will be a scar i still have one doing the same thing when i was sixteen but it don't look as bad now i used cocoa butter it worked well

The old myth is to let burns get dry, they used to think that would reduce scarring...that's a no-no...keep it moist...aloe and/or Neosporin (or any antibacterial ointment) and keep a bandage over it if possible....if there is a scar(Neosporin helps prevent scars) then you can use Mederma....after it is all healed that is.....

Ouch! I know how badly that can hurt cause I've done it! It is common for a burn like this to form a brown area. The most important thing is not to pick at it or touch it a lot because your body is trying to heal and the last thing you want to do is to contaminate a burn with germs because it will become infected. I know it probably looks bad to you and in the next few days this brown area may feel tight and start to itch some and that is normal healing. Again, don't scratch or pick at it. If it is uncomfortable you can apply some hydrocortisone cream with clean fingers or applicator lightly over the area once or twice a day. This brown area will slough off and mostly likely you won't have a scar.

its quiite common thing encountered very commonly. most probably the scar will go but it will take tiime. aplication of cocnut oil helps. its an old age remedy for burn scars.

just takem care that u dont scratch that area as u may feel a little itching over that area.

Well once, I was ironing my clothes and got burned on my hand and made like a 1 and 1/2 inch scar. It was pretty gnarly and I didn't do anything to it, and sooner or later, the scar went away. Now I have nothing. And I'm sure a clothes iron is waaaay hotter than a straightening iron for hair. And my friend got burned with a straightening iron on her pretty face and the scar was like 2 inches long, but in a week or two, the scar was gone.
