My heel of my left foot has been killing me...Please help.?!

Question: My feet are killing me and I need them to stop hurting so I can join the track team this year. =[ I went to the doctor he said not to put alot of pressure on it and that I need arch supports for shoe. I bought the arch supports and put less pressure on my feet but they are still killing me...Does anyone no what is wrong with heel or have some kind of special remedy? Please

Most likely you have tendonitis or what's called Plantar Facitis. It means the bottom of your foot hurts. The tendon that runs under your heel and connects to the arch of your foot has been injured and become inflamed. Because you can't stop walking around it stays that way. Take antiinflamitories daily for two weeks, stay off your foot as much as possible and see if it gets any better when you go off the antiinflamitory. Then go to see a Podiatrist. She/he will be able to diagnose exactly what is happening and how extensive the damage is. Then a cast of your foot can be made and custom fitted orthotics can realign your foot when you walk or run. They are worn daily and your shoes must be a style that holds the appliance in place or they do no good.

Several people mentioned spurs so here is the FAQ answer on that topic.

If the tendon continues to be swollen it rubs on the bone of a notch in the bottom of your heel right in front of your heel bone. The bone becomes involved and your body tries to lay down more bone to protect it. That new bone is the heel spur. It doesn't stick down into the bottom of your foot which is why you can't feel it with your fingers. It sticks up toward the tendon and aggrivates it even more. If the bone spur grows more and more it can grow into the bone above it and entrap the tendon. That requires extensive surgery to repair and a long looonnnggg recovery period.

go to the doctor.

Go to see a Podiatrist (Foot specialist) You could have bone spurs on your heels. You usually cannot see them or feel them to touch but they hurt very badly when you put your weight on them. Search the net for bone spurs. Basically it is a deposit of some sort that adheres to the bone. Hurts much!

Good luck.

you mite have stepped on something...

May be tracking is the cause.
If i were you,i would take Homeopathic Arnica 200c OTC....just 2/3 times two hourly.
Worked on me

sounds like you may have plantar plantar fascitis. Go see an orthepedist for a night brace and some orthotics for your shoes...they both work wonders!!
