Will it hurt?!
Question: I have had 6 stitches for about 11-12 days. I am going to have my stitches out on Tuesday. Will it hurt? I've heard it feel's like a small tug. So does it?

No, it doesn't hurt at all. I had stitches in my knuckles a few years ago from a car accident that peeled the skin completely off of my knuckles, and when I went to have them removed, it didn't hurt at all.
You can "feel" them coming out, but it isn't painful. Mine actually itched quite a bit.

It doesn't really hurt...I've removed the stiches on my finger a few years ago. The only thing that will sting is if the rubbing alcohol or disinfectent gets into the holes that the stiches are in. The act of pulling the stiches out won't hurt at all.
had it done 5 or 6 times.---piece of cake--thinking about it the first time was much worse than having it done
They don't typically hurt but everyone is different. It can feel like a small tug on your skin but not painful. I've had to get more stitches than I care to admit and I never felt pain except for when they were stitching.
