Should I go to sleep now or not? See details of my situation please...?!

Question: I'm a college student who had enough beer over the past 5 and a half hours to just barely be able to type. If I slept in till 5 pm (Impressive, I know) today and started drinking at midnight tonight, given that it's 5:30 am now, and am totally shwasted, is it a good idea to go to sleep now if i have calculus class at 8am on monday morning? I'm tentative about it for three reasons:

1) I have four physics lab write-ups to do tomorrow
2) I don't want to throw off my sleep patterns for next week

and especially 3)

Will my metabolism be faster if i stay up and give me less of a hangover?

I would greatly appreciate any help you guys could give me. Thanks a lot.

more alcohol will make the problem worse. Get as much sleep as you can before you do your lab write-ups, and worry about your future sleep patterns later. That can always be fixed by a) laying off the alcohol until you're back on track, and b) forcing yourself to wake up a little earlier than usual during the next week to get your sleep patterns back on track. For example, if you find you aren't tired until 5am, go to bed then but force yourself to wake up at noon, so that the next night you'll be tired a little earlier. Repeat until you're normal. About your metabolism.... that has nothing to do with your hangover. Drink lots and lots of water for a hangover, before you go to bed that night, as much as you possibly can, even if you don't feel thirsty. Hangovers are caused by dehydration, which is caused by the alcohol.
Good luck

Keep drinking

I'm not clear on why you came home so early. Probably the best thing to do is go back to the party and check for leftovers. Stick with it. You're on a roll.
(PS: As long as you keep drinking , you can't get a hangover.)

You have already thrown off your sleep pattern.
It doesn't really matter what you do now.
Good luck on your papers, you'll need it.

STOP drinking.

There is always going to be more beer. There is NOT always going to be more time to complete your assignments.

Also, it is science now that if you do not get enough good sleep, undrugged sleep, you are certifiably considered to be mental. Do you really think it's a good idea to be both mental AND hungover?

DO start drinking water, or things that are liquids such as lemonaid, non-caffeine products as they will rehydrate you and help you reduce hangover.

Best of Luck

you've only been up 12 hours don't sleep now might be a little intox sleep tonight your young yhr body will ajust
