Yes and no... The body and mind rest best when your schedule is natural. Young people are predisposed to stay up later and sleep later. Older people are predisposed to go to bed early and wake up early. If you follow the schedule your body wants, you'll be better off.

Only if you are not sooo tired by midnight lol! You should be okay. Sleep is when your brain finally gets to work on telling the rest of the body what needs to be done while you are resting, and not doing so much other stuff at the same time. 8-12 hours, depending on your age, how active you are, and how much sleep your body really needs.
