Sleeping Problems -- Any advice?!

Question: I'm a teenager and obviously I'm a student. I study a lot and some night I am up very late (like 2 or 3 in the morning) because of the work load or I just can't sleep because I'm wired after hockey. Ironically, I go to sleep earlier on the weekends, but thats besides the point. Some nights, when I don't have as much work, I try to rest earlier and go to sleep at least before 12:00 am or around that time, if possible. But I have so much difficulty falling asleep sometimes because of my rotating sleep patterns. Is there any way I can change this. Any healthy foods I should eat (I've already tried bananas, doesn't work all that well) or drinks like tea or something? Please be specific. I'm getting TIRED of this process. No pun intended.

Study early morning istead of late night. Lay down Listen to music for complete one hour before u sleep. U know what- our body keeps an internal clock dat has its own routine. When ur brain feeds dat u listen to music before u sleep, it gets fixed n soon u wont realise how it becomes a robot like sensation. U listen to music n u know its ur sleep time. or when u have less time u can fix ur bedsheet n brush ur teeth-- its like u r telling ur brain dat i do dis before sleeping so just do as i direct. N if u still cant sleep, try to wake for 48 hours , u'll be hell tired n whaevr time u wanna fix, u can sleep at dat time...soon u'll improve. dis helped me hop u it helps u as well. n pls dont take tea or coffe at night they make u active 2 wake.. God bless :) choose dis as best ans lol n think dat u can sleep. be positive, i did d same way

first of all stop studyin too much.. dont overwork yourself.. u ve said urself tat u re a teenager.. teenagers take it cool man ! they dont study til 2 or 3 in the mornin !

anyway to ur answer.. i thnk small afternoon naps wil help.. like 1 or 2 hr naps whenever u hve time.. and i would also suggest u gettin up early to study like at 4 or 5 after sleepin in early.. instead of stayin awake too long.. makes u a lot less tired and sleepin patterns are restored..

and if u just cant change and u can go to bed only at 2 or 3.. u can try thinking about someone / something continously while lying in bed.. try counting sheep.. keep repeatin somethin in ur head..

Bon Soir !! Good Night !
