Tension headache?!
Question: i have been having daily headaches, sometimes my forehead gets soo tense like somebody is squeezing it and i can't relax it, is that a tension headache? it seems like as soon as i go to bed i get a headache and i wake up with it, i can't sleep for crap and i am sooo tired of taking MEDICATION! my doctor put me on some migraine medicine but i can only get 9 a month with my insurance and they make me feel really weird so i dont take one unless it gets really bad, what causes a tension headache, stress? anxiety? HELP!

I get them whenever I am stressed out and the only thing that works for me is excedrin tension headache. I have tried migrane medicine and everything under the sun and the only thing that works is the excedrin.

ok im not sure but try going to a physio, i had BAD headaches for like a yr and it turned out to be my neck. even though my neck didnt hurt.
umm short term, put an icepack on the sore part of ur head and ur feet in warm water. that will draw the blood away from ur head and ease the aching. i know what u mean about taking heaps of meds! such a pain.
but yeh try the physio!
You need massage therapy, relaxation and time away from everybody...
I do not take medication for headaches...there are some Lawanda microwavable packs sold by Avon. I find it real helpful, otherwise Chinese Carminative Balm...It has worked for me since I was 17 years old.
