My sisters ear is infected and the earring wont come out how can we get it out?!
Question: my sister got her cartlidge pierced for the first time ever and it swelled up and turned red and it's bleeding . she said her head hurts alot and shes crying! and the earring is stuck and she starts crying everytime someone touches her ear what can we do???? will ice work????

I suggest everyone stop panicking. What you should do is have your sister hold a warm, wet washcloth over the earring area. After a few minutes, twist the earring a little; then hold a warm washcloth over the earring again. Then twist a little. Continue to do that until you feel the earring twisting.
At that point, hold an ice cube behind the ear and pull the earring out from the front. Have a piece of gauze or tissue or papertowel handy so you can immediately hold pressure on the front and back of the ear, pressing slightly to stop any bleeding.
She should clean the area very well with peroxide, rinse, and hold a warm washcloth over it every couple hours. In the morning, go to the doc and let them see if she needs to take antibiotics.
She's not going to hurt herself by pulling the earring out. It may bleed, but she'll be ok.
geez take her to a hospital, put alcohol rubbing on it, it will hurt ALOTT BUT IT it will disinfect it, take her to a hosopital asap!
Well you need to get it out, but I would try Ice to get it out, but you need to see a doctor about it after that because of the infection. Hows is it stuck, is it stuck because she won't let you take it out?
****!!!Well, did you or your parents try? Id' say try to get the swelling down with ice but also clean the area, you probably need to take her to the doctor to deal with this, which means going to the E.R. currently
tell her to get in the shower and soak the ear for a few minutes. this will loosen all dried up particles. after a few minutes start twisting the earing, it will eventually clean up and slide out. clean the wound well a few times a day and it should heal. im hoping she did not have it pierced with a gun as it could be a little more difficult to get out due to the barb. good luck
Didn't the person who pierced her ear tell her she has to turn the earring daily so that wouldn't happen?!?!?!
Sounds like ya'll might have to make a trip to the doctor and get there ASAP so hopefully, if it isn't already infected, to prevent it.
Ice will take down the swelling. Alcohol or Hydrogen Peroxide will help the infection.
it is badly infected, she needs a doctor to take care of it right away
