Arthrotec Side Effects!! PLEASE HELP I'M WORRIED!!?!
Question: I have taken my first dose of Arthrotec 75mg tablet along with Lyrica 50mg to help manage back and hip pain due to major surgery over a year ago. I am 21 years old and I am not currentlyon my cycle but I have BAD cramps, even worse then when I am menstrating. I am also having blurred vision. I am usually very tolerable to pain medications as I have taken LOTS to help with pain in the past.
Are these normal side effects? Should I be concerned? Should I discontinue?? I looked on Google for previous cases and I found a few cases of it but it didn't say if it was a normal side effect of the drug.
I am also experiencing a very dry mouth and dry throat.

What are the Common Side Effects Associated with Arthrotec?: Arthrotec has the side effects associated with both of its components (diclofenac sodium and misoprostol).
stomach pain
dyspepsia
nausea
flatulence
diarrhea (which may resolve in up to 7 days)
the blurred vision and dry mouth could be a side affect, but i would call the doc about the cramps. he might recommend you stop taking the meds, or have to switch one of them. i wouldn't take any more til i talked to him/her.
