Does dabbing vasaline underneath your eyes help with dark circles?!

Question: Does it? I have really bad dark circles and I get a reasonable amount of sleep, I can't get anymore. I have DSPS (delayed sleep phase syndrome.) I'm a guy, so no make-up and the yeah the cucumber thing is kinda... weird. I did it last night, i guess it worked considering i slept at 2 and woke up at 11(weekend).. Does the vasline help? I did it once, but once again I got a crap load of sleep. I could do the vasline very often and easily. Does this help? or what does?

no and it dries your skin out anything with petroleum in it dries out your skin, it sucks out the moisture. if you dont have a soothing eye gel which you can find at walgreens or cvs or walmart at a reasonable price you can try those gel ice bags you stick in coolers or cold cucumber slices. also you can wrap an icecube in a cool washcloth compress and lay down with that over your eyes. use a moisturizer tomorrow when you wake up oil of olay has a reasonable eye cream and get the gel that you put in the fridge for the puffiness.

They make specific creams with ingredients that are supposed to be way more effective; retinol, vitamin K, or vitamin C are all supposed to boost collagen. Here are some creams that should really work; Shishedio White Lucent Brightening Eye Treatment ($50), Peter Thomas Roth Power K Eye Rescue($100), or for an instant fix, opt for Olay Definity Eye Illuminator($25) which has light diffusing particles that are not quite makeup but will camouflage almost as well.
You could look into a little dot of make-up applied with a light pat of your finger, rubbing only pulls on the skin and causes wrinkles. There are three main colors for concealment of undereye circles; yellow, green, and orange. Most people need yellow, but I use orange, so you will just have to test each one and see what blends into your skin tone so well so no one would notice. I recommend going up to one of the cute girls behind a make-up counter in a department store and asking her to test all three colors on your eyes. She will have to touch your face don't be weird about it.
Finally, blood pooling under your eyes and sun exposure is what causes those circles. So start doing some cardio to get your circulation going, drink enough water, and get a spf cream that is safe to put on around your eyes or wear a hat and sunglasses every time you go outside.
