I have an annoying hangnail. Should I tear it off or cut it off or ignore it?!

Question: Snip it off with a sharp nail-cutter as close to your finger as you can possibly reach. If it still leaves a jaggeddy edge, try gently filing it with a nail file (very gently, if it doesnt hurt) so that it wont rip and turn into another hang nail.
Then moisturise with a good hand lotion.

carefully cut it off and then ignore it.

use a nail clipper and cut it off; if you tear it you'll be sorry........

OR you can just be annoyed by it.

I would cut it off, but that's just me.

don't tear it off, or it will hurt like crazy.
cut it off with nail clippers or the tiny scissors you can cut your nails with

Cut off as much as you can, then file off any rough edges that could snag on something. Then ignore it.

Carefully cut it out after you take a shower, its best to always cut your finger or toenails when they are soft and you will not run the risk of getting another hangnail or jagged edges. Now keep in mind if you get another one thats worse then this you will need to have it done probably by the doctor. Have fun then.
My hubby suffers from hangnails all the time, so its experience I have here

Cut it off. I usually rip them off, but then they bleed constantly for a while and it hurts when you rip them off. So cut it carefully. Then put a band-aid on it.

Better not ignore it. You might snag it on
something important. And that smarts.
