Question: I have had braces for 3months now. I just got rubber bands and a power chain. It hurts soooo bad. I took so much advil. It still hurts! (my mouth) What should I do? I can't go to the docs. I just don't find it serous enough. Pleaz help!

maybe your not used to it yet just try for a few more days then if its still hurts then call your dentist instead of going.
i had braces before and there really isnt anything you can do......youll just have to get used to it....and trust me you will!!!
it hurts when u first get rubberbands the pains incredible. what i did was od on advil i took 2 more pills than i was suppose to and slept, its gonna hurt for like a week or two just take advil everyday and eat very soft foods other than that theres nothing you can do.
Don't worry. I got braces too! It killed terribly. Im sorry to say, there is really nothing you can do... Some people who get braces hurt a LOT but some don't even feel a thing. It's just the way it is. To help soothe yourself, you should do some yoga. It helps.
it does hurt for a while...but there's nothing you can do to make the pain go away. :(
BENZODENT. It's really cheap and it works way better than orajel or anbesol.
