There is a support group with so much helpful info about hypermobility or EDS which this falls into.
There is also message boards, medical info and publications.
The address is

You will defantly feel supported and not so alone.
was this from a chiropracter? if so, try going to a real doctor.
im hypermobile, but in my fingers, and my knee mostly. lol, sometimes i have issues with controlling my joints too. drives me insane when my knees or fingers start to hurt. idk what you can do about it, tho. i usually just take otc pain stuff when they start to hurt really bad. since ur in school (like me, also 14) u prbly have to get a note from ur parents saying u can take the stuff. or u could do wat most ppl do, and just take it at ur locker or in the bathroom and no one has to know. lol.
