I fell down a flight of stairs 2 days ago.....?!

Question: I fell down a flight of stairs 2 days ago and hit my head pretty hard on the wall at the end of the stairs. I fell face forward and landed mostly on my right shoulder. The next day (yesterday) I woke up and my shoulder was in pain and I had bruises on my legs. My head, however, did not hurt, not did I have a bump. Is this a cause for alarm? And do you think my shoulder is ok? The bruise on my shoulder is not visible but hurts very badly when I move it or when it is touched. Should I see a doctor or just "suck it up" and allow time for the soreness to go away? The

LOL!!! Sorry, but you should go see a doctor. Maybe David (from the cruise) can help you.

You could have broken something. You could have dislocated your shoulder. Go see a Dr. You will need X-rays to find out

Its always best to seek the advice of a doctor . Maybe some x-rays

See a doctor. You have injured yourself. Even if you don't have any broken bones, you may have strained or pulled a muscle and can use some guidance in restoring your health.

You shoud have it x-rayed, if you think anything (ie. bones) might be broken.

Go to the Dr. and have it checked out, you could have injured the tissues or you could have dislocated your shoulder and not realize it, although I don't know your pain thresh hold and dislocating your shoulder is very painful but some people don't notice it.

Head injuries should always be checked even if nothing is visible or you have no symptoms that you recognize, you could have a concussion and it's never a good idea to go to sleep if you have hurt your head in anyway.

Either way, get to the dr and please feel better.

See a doctor. I was skateboarding down this steep hill a few years ago, and I fell and slid on my shoulder for about 10 feet. I just had a pretty gnarly cut, but other than that it didnt look too bad. The next day i could barely move it. I decided to just suck it up, and now It pops in and out of the socket every time I try to rotate it in a circle. I now don't have health insurance, and can't afford to take time off work. Don't be dumb like me. See a Dr.
