How long til my nail heals?!
Question: I'm one of the biggest klutzes in the world and I slammed my thumb in the door today (I don't know how I do these things...) And my nail has a blue bruise and it hurts really badly. How long does it take for a bruised nail to heal?

but dont worry, it should heal completely in about a week or so. try to apply some cream on =) it helps
with ice on it, it took me two-three days
i did that before. it took about two weeks for mine to heal. everyones diff though.
about 2 weeks.
This has never happened to me but i know plenty of people that is has happened to and your nail is going to continue to turn a darker blueish purple then your fingernail will start to rise off of your finger under it, it will be dry so there will be NO blood then you will have to take it off and another naill will grown in.
ok, first its not the nail that is bruised its the skin under the nail, and depending on how hard you hit it the nail might fall off, in that case the new nail will be fully grown in in about 2-3 weeks. if it doesnt fall off then it will be back to normal as soon as the bruise underneath the nail heals.
Depends on how bad it is. you may lose the nail. I would give it a week
