I'm hoping someone will be able to give me some advice please:?!
Question: Q: After several back operations i still dp not have reflex in my right leg and wondered if there are any exercises that I can do to strengthen this leg without adding to the bulk. When I try and stand on a stool or ladder I find it hard to get any leverage seems to be little or no strength but I do walk a lot and I thought this would have helped with the reflex. Can anyone suggest anything to help please.
Long waiting list to see an NHS physio...

Has your doctor suggested a 'nerve conduction test'? My wife had it done at Ipswich Hospital on NHS for similar leg problem.
How about swimming. I have a back problem and my physio recommended swimming and exercising in water as its not weight-bearing and therefore doesn't stress the joints.
I don't know what you mean by reflex.
Have you got a 'nerve' or 'muscle' problem?
Exercise will help muscle but not the problem nerve itslef, however strengthening the surrounding muscles is always a good idea
Good luck with the physio.
