Infected hangnail?!?!
Question: Ok, well I stubbed my toe while gardening on Sunday and i had to clip the nail but, there was a hangnail. I pulled that out with tweezers and on Monday afternoon I noticed there was a lot of pus and it was bloody. I poured hydrogen peroxide on it and then put a band-aid on it but still, there has been a lot of pus and blood. As I type this, its throbbing. My mother said to clean it and leave it alone and I have been but its been hurting more and more. Does anyone know what I should do? Doctor, over the counter pain reliefs, etc?? Please help I want to avoid the worst outcome which is amputation. Thanks!

The peroxide is good.
After it dries, put a triple antibiotic on it, then a nice gauze bandage to catch the drainage. That should make the infection draw out of the toe.
it should go away trust me this has happened to me MANY TIMES! Just wait it out let heal. Clean it everyday and it will be all set.

If it`s invected and getting worse do not wait till it gets realy bad.Go see a Doctor.
