What is this pain in my ear?!
Question: everytime i swallow i get a terrible pain in my ear, it stopped me from sleeping last night! i have taken pain killers this morning but the pain is still unbearable! anyone got any ideas about what it is causing the pain?

The fact that it is worse when yo swallow suggests it is otitis media, rather than otitis externa. Sometimes this is just due to a catarrh and pressure problem, but it can also be due to infection.
In children antibiotics seem to make little difference, with more children getting side effects from the antibiotic, that getting more rapid relief of symptoms than they would if left untreated. The condition is much rarer in adults and no equivalent statistics exist. For that reason most GPs will treat an inflamed looking otitis media with antibiotics, so go see your GP.
Some sort of ear infection probably - doctors for you!

When you swallow your ears grow more accute to hearing. So in the process of growing more accute, thats when your hears hurt.
I would say ear infection or damaged ear drum.
It's either wax of the eardrum or an ear and throat infection. Your doctor will sort it out.

its terrible pain! Your throat and ears are connected, thats why it hurts when you swallow. Its gonna get worse. you need to see a doctor ASAP. they will give you some penecillion to cure the virus and some vicodin to cure the pain. trust me you'll be happy you did.
strep throat was the most painful thing I have ever went through!
what dr frank said is true otitis media he has to work in health care to know what otitis media is! LOL go to your doctor and get checked
stress related i had similar more so on keeping me awake at night i was prescribed Valium . Go see your Doc to get correct diagnosis
