It is very normal that you feel that way. Opiates keep trying to get you long after you get clean.

If you are still having pain issues you need to get in a pain management program ASAP. Here are a few links that will help you

If you have medical need for the pain meds anymore then here are a few links that may help you find a group to get involved with.

Please don't go back to abusing them again. I have been in a pain management program for about 8 years due to a cervical spine injury. I have seen so many young people ruin their lives with oxy's that it makes me sick. I take oxycodone, hydrocodone, morphine sulphate, and a few other medications everyday as part of my pain management, but I dream of the day that I may not have to take them anymore.

If you want to know anymore reasons why you should not do the meds anymore e-mail me and I will tell you some of the first hand knowledge I have with people abusing drugs.

Good job on kicking that awful addiction. The reason you crave it is because it is a VERY ADDICTING drug. It will probably be something you crave for the rest of your life, unfortunatly. It gives a person a feeling of euphoria, that is hard to give up. I just want to say Congrats on being strong...keep with it....your life depends on it.

Don't talk about it,talking about it makes you crave it more.

Hey Racheal! That's great that u got off of them. Alot of it is all in your head (psychological) and if u keep thinking about them it just makes u want them more!!!! TRUST ME, i know, i am in pain management and i am fighting to keep within my dose................opiates are hard to kick and HARD to give up! Hang in there Rach!!!

There are many triggers to addiction, so why you crave it may be as unique as you are. Have you tried a 12-Step program. check out www.na.org to find a local support system.
