have you seen a dentist lately? It could be a simple (but painful) dental abscess. Or have you had any recent trauma to that area? see a doctor and get it treated as it's difficult to say for sure what it is without seeing it
a swollen lymph node..the sub-mandibular ones. From a mouth infection, or even a sore throat.
Possible a reactive lymph node from an abcessed tooth.
