Canker sore/Jaw pain? Possible?!

Question: I have an Oval white sore on the base of my gums towards the back teeth. It started a few days ago and I've been rinsing with warm salt water. Just yesterday I noticed my jaw right there is starting to ache a little bit. Is this normal? Should I stop the salt water solution? What can I do to get rid of this?

Is the jaw pain of a throbbing type? I think the sore on your gums is not responding to salt water. Go to your doc or use something like dentogel or smyle...
