What are the chances of me getting another hernia?!

Question: I had an inguinal hernia on the right side and I was wondering what the chances were of getting another one on the left side. It would never happen again on the right side because I have internal mesh protecting the abdominal wall.

I'm not sure, but I feel sorry for you, and I wish you the best.....I know someone who had a hernia (same kind as you, I believe) and he hasn't had another one sinse then, although, I am sure there's always that chance....Hope I Helped.
