Steady, Sharp Pain in Lower Right Side...?!

Question: Had tubal ligation/novasure ablation a little over 2 months ago. I have been having pain in my lower right abdomen/pelvic are since January. It wasn't really bad until recently and has been bad for about five days. If I believed in black magic I would say someone had a voodoo doll and had a pin stuck there. However, it radiates to my right back and up to my right shoulder. It hurts when I lay down. I started running a low grade temp tonight. If you press on my the are below my belly, it hurts and there is pain when you release as well. I know it could be a lot of things, but could I have developed an infection this late?

Sounds exactly like you might have a kidney stone.I have had them and the pain you have described is the same.Go to the emergency room;if its a stone it could be too large to pass, they may need to blast it.If its a stone they'll give you pain medicine immediately.

Go to the emergency room immediately! You could have a burst appendix!

Could be an infection, could be you've increased your activity level too soon and torn something, could be your appendix? Infection is my number 1 suspicion, though..... esp. with that temperature.

sorry

Sounds like appendicitis, which you need to go to doctor, asap. since your running temp, Are you nauseated and vomiting also, if so you need to go now to ER. ;You could have infection, but it is likely that you would have had this before this time. Need to get checked out dear. Hope this helps.
