Strange Scar?? (Warning.. Gross Details)?!

Question: Sadly, I was only walking through a door. There was around an inch space between the sharp corner of the metal door and the ground, and it closed on my heel. It bled alot but eventually healed over. I had to wear Ugg boots because all other shoes hurt. I kept bandaids on it during school and wrapped my foot up for sports. There was a big circular gash and a thin shallow line cut under it.. it looked kind of like a staff. Now, the shallow cut looks like a scar, but the big circular gash looks weird. There is a big ballooney pink pimple that sticks out where it was. Can anyone tell me what it is and if it will go away?

When you heal from cuts, do you normally form keloids? It could be a keloid forming which is an overabundance of cells healing the wound that don't know when to stop so a bump forms. It could just be how you heal or some scar tissue. You never said how long ago it happened. if it was recent, watch for signs of infection. Drainage, pain, swelling, fever, chills. if it continues to be painful you really need to show a doctor. If it happened while ago....it could be a keloid forming or sme scar tissue. Either way, it can't hurt to have a doctor look at it to give you an opinion. Maybe the scar can be revised or made less noticable but normally surgeons wnat the scar ti calm down a bit and may not do anything for at least 6 months. It takes awhile for an area to "calm down" and flatten out the most that it probably will.

Sounds like an infection. Have your Doctor take a look!
