Answers: I broke mine almost three weeks ago and am still finding it quite sore with restricted movement.

It really depends on the degree of dislocation and your age. Might take 6-8 weeks for it to heal, but you might still not be able to straighten it for three months or so, even with physiotherapy. Again it all depends on the severity of the fracture. Did you have surgery? If not, you should be feeling a lot better in month or so provided you exercise it moderately.

You would be best getting the advice of the hospital/docotor treating you rather than someone on Y!A who hasn't examined you!

it will take around 6 weeks to heal, however when there is cold weather you will almost sometimes get pain in the area.this wont go.as long as you are resting it,fractures will heal in there own time, but if you are moving ,or atleast trying to move it ,you will cause more problems.

hope this helps
