You need to go to the emergency room. You could have a concussion. Do not fall asleep until a doctor checks you out. With concussions, you do not always show signs.
Ask your self the following questions.
Have you had a head injury but you do not have signs of a serious head injury?
Is your scalp still bleeding after a head
injury?
Do you have any signs of a skull fracture?
Have you vomited after a head injury?
Do you have a headache after a head
injury?
Do you think an injury was caused by
abuse?
Have you had any new or ongoing
symptoms after a head injury?
If you answered YES to any of the questions above then ask yourself the following.
Did you have loss of consciousness for less
than a few seconds?
Are you not sure, whether you lost
consciousness?
Are you not able to remember what
happened before or just after the injury?
If you said YES to any of these questions you need to GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM NOW
Have SOMEONE ELSE DRIVE you.

If you are dizzy, and feel like you are going to barf, you could have a concussion. Then you need to see a Dr.

You can take some IB, or Tylenol to ease the pain

do it again...this time you will faint... then the pain will cease

Get a hammer and whack your hand with it. You'll forget all about your head!

Could be a concussion. Make sure you watch for symptoms uch as visual disturbances, dizziness, nausea, vomiting. If those symptoms are present or seejm to worsen it would be a good idea to see your doctor. He or she may want to go a neurological exam and/or send you for a skull xray or CT /MRI of the head. In the meantime, take some Motrin or Aleve for the pain. Keeping your head elevated will help with any throbbing you may feel in your head. Avoid bending over or lifting heavy objects. That type of activity just increases the pressure in your head and may cause it to hurt more.
