Ear infection. For Nurses or Doctors?!

Question: I think I have an ear infection. My mom looked in my ear and thought she saw a pimple so that might be a part of why its hurting. Its been hurting for about 7 days. Heat helps. I take tylenol and it helps but I can't keep taking it. I have pain down to my jaw.

Any ideas on what I can do. I don't have health insurance, can't afford it. Is there any kind of over the counter meds I can take? Any advice?

It might be an infection that only antibiotics can cure. Unfortunately, only a doctor that sees you physically can make this decision. If you cannot afford to go the hospital, try the county clinic. The wait there is usually longer though, I hope you get better.

you really do need a doctor, but if I can't make you go, try putting a triple antibiotic ointment in the ear canal and continue the heat. Since the pain is to the jaw I think it's badly infected and you'll end up having to go to a doctor.

i have experience you cant play around with ear infections find you local clinic pay the small fee tell doc you have an ear infection you will get prescribed amoxicillin take it dont drink alcahol it counter reacts and you will fell better within days but take all of it for the whole week Homeaid remedy warm up olive oil soak it up in a piece of cotton stick in affected ear
