What are some good ways to help relieve Carpal Tunnel pain?!

Question: I think I'm getting the on-set of a little carpal tunnel. My right wrist is just killing me. I type a lot for my job and at home. What are some good, easy, cheap ways to help relieve the pain? Do stress balls help or hinder? Ice? Heat? Thought I'd ask you guys. Thanks in advance!

carpal tunnel symptoms usually begin differently than what you describe, so I suspect that tendonitis is the issue here and not carpal tunnel.
You can help yourself by getting a wrist brace and wearing it at night in bed so your wrist is immobilized and able to rest and heal while you sleep. NSAIDs are helpful too, like Ibuprofen or Aleve, use as directed.

Tiger Balm is very good. If it makes the pain more intense, you can just wash it off. I've found it helps more than hurts.

Chamomile oil and cypress oil are supposed to help and you can find further information in a search for "carpal tunnel" + "natural remedies".
