Safe Dosages of Ibuprofen and Acetominophen combined.?!
Question: Taking prescription Vicoprophen 7.5 / 325 as well as Oxycodone 10 / 500.
My question is:
I am aware that the maximum dosage of Acetominophen is 4g daily to be safe. However, I also take the vicoprophen containing ibuprophen - I know this is a lot less toxic on the liver than the Acetominophen, but how much is it safe to take in a 24 hour period between the two?
In case any wise-@55es need to know, I am a chronic pain patient with sacroilitis and serious compressions in L4 - L5 - S1, not a recreational abuser. Thanks in advance for your help.

I have chronic back pain too, so no judgment here...
IBU can be toxic in other ares of your body. The maximum daily dose is 2400 mg for the average adult. That doesn't mean you should always take that amount. It can also be liver damaging, thin your blood out, increase the levels of other meds you're taking and increase your risk of stomach/intestine ulcers. Take it with food or a glass of milk.
