What to do about bunyons?!

Question: I have a bunyon on my right foot and possibly some arthritis in my big toe. If I walk for very long it really hurts. I wear good, expensive, shoes conducive to good posture, comfort and walkability. My question is at what point should I see a doctor regarding this? And what, if anything, can I do on my own to help? Thanks.

Bunions will get worse if you don't go to a podiatrist ASAP. Surgery is the only thing that will fix the problem. I know - I had surgery last May. If you ignore bunions, then eventualy you will start to lose your balance and could fall.

see a foot doctor now. i had both of my feet done and what a relief. the surgery is out patient and recovery time is only a couple of weeks. you dont have to suffer. your pain will not go away no matter what shoes you wear.
