Throat hurting?!

Question: When I Swallow it hurts bad. Like my throat has been scraped. Its hard to swallow any thing. I dont think it is a sore throat. What else could it be? What can I do to make it better?

Often, when I develop a sore throat, it turns out to be strep throat. This can be personally identified by looking for small, almost round, off-white spots on your tonsils. It is recommended you consult your doctor, but if that isn't an option, as unbearable as it sounds, gargle in white vinegar. The vinegar will kill the infection very quickly.
