What's the difference b/w advil & aleve?!

Question: i've been taking both historically for minor aches & pains, but i'm wondering if each should be used for something specific. the label on each seems to treat the same thing so not sure what the real difference is. appreciate some color.

Both are NSAIDS (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs). Advil (ibuprofen) is used mostly for aches and pains, and fevers, but some people have trouble with it bothering their stomachs. Aleve (naproxen) is used for the same thing, but is usually easier on the stomach, and not used so much for fevers. Sometimes people alternate taking them, for example, take Advil at noon, then Aleve at 2pm, then more Advil at 4pm, to keep pain under control without taking too much of one or the other. Hope that helps.

Aleve always seems to work better for me than advil
