Did you really suffer a fracture? Sciatica is the diagnosis relative to an injury to the sciatic nerve. Play ball, however, only after a physician familiar with your condition evaluates you and approves such.

the only thing you can do is touch football. your spine is VERY very delicate. if you beak it again, i imagine you can be paralyzed or something. i don't think you want that, do you? i broke my hand my freshman year of highschool...i totally seperated my metacarpol in my hand (on the pinky finger..) and it was during basketball season, i had to have two casts cause when they took the first one off it wasnt healed...then they put another one on, and a short time after that it "healed" but i did play games shortly after that and that just hurt me more...so i stopped playing basketball. then in the spring time after a good amount of rest, i started playing baseball...jv first string pitcher, but after a few games and practices, my hand started to hurt (at that point, my bone in my hand curved because i didnt get surgery on it...and not to mention my knuckle sunk in.) but i kept playing, then went it game time for the first tourney i had the PERFECT hit. hit the dam ball so hard it went over the fence and landed up in th ehospital shortly after that. sprained my metacarpol and wrist contusions. so yeah...take my advice...once you've broken something, don't try to risk breaking it again. your body will turn on itself.

don't try it you'll probably break your spine again and become paralyzed

Look at my face. I am on pain management because I took too many late hits, dropped too many motorcycles, and pealed off too many rock faces on a long belay. I played rugby until I was 45.

I recommend that you get on the aquatic team and dive. There is great physicality and no lab table size linemen to deal with.

Word.
