Oh gosh do I feel for ya both. Used to get them since a tyke to 14 yrs...
TAKE HIM TO THE DOCTOR.
How old is he and does he have a fever? Use a thermometer!
No short cuts that I know of other than Tylenol to help and maybe a warm wash cloth over the ear.
There are three parts to an ear, outer, middle and inner ear. Tis not something one wants to fool with and unlike a tooth ache where you can say I see and feel it...it just sucks...
Once the doc looks inside with his special gizmo, he will be able to determine a plan to remedy it and maybe prescribe a stronger pain realiever appropriate for his age and body mass
Give him some calpol (paracetamol/acetaminofen) and then two hours later some Nurofen (ibuprofen). You could try some Audax as well until you get to the doctor. He will need to see a doctor to get an antibiotic to cure what seems to me to be an ear infection
i used to get them all the time wen i was little. take him to the doctor and he will tell you what to give him. it sounds to me like an ear infection which yes is painful enough to cry about! also give him some calpol (sorry am a rubbish speller!) or somthing to kill the pain a bit.
get him to a doctor the otc meds dont do crap and u can only get them with a script unfortunatley
Sweet oil drops or garlic oil.It stinks but its a natural antibiotic.
