Burnt my finger, what should i do?!

Question: I had a candle lit, and the wick was tilted to one side that made the glass there really hot, and I touched it when I was trying to move the candle. I submerged my finger in lukewarm water for a while. It still hurts a little but not as much.
There's not blister, but it's a tiny bit red.
What should I do?

put toothpaste on it..... i know it sounds silly but do it....
it really helpss. especially the white toothpaste.
one time i burnt my finger and it hurt sooo much and i got this huge blister and i seriously even started crying cuz i would have to keep putting it in cold water. i was at school and i had to walk around with a foam cup filled with water. then it would get warm and it would hurt moreee... i felt like dying.
afterwords, i had to go somewhere else but first i went home and i put toothpaste and i stopped hurting completely!!!

try ittt

Apply aloe if you have it. Leave it uncovered.

Put some ice on it.

Run it under cold water

Rub aloe vera leaf on it.

Stick it in the bean pot

icy cold water

Apply a burn ointment and don't cover it. By the way running it under cold water doesn't help. I don't recommend it. Only makes it feel better for a second.

Well, like most burns, it'll heal itself. Try putting some ice on it.

Cool water, you can get burn ointment, anything cool will ease up the burning.

Ice wrapped in a wet wash cloth. Put your finger on top of the cloth that is over the ice.

hold it in cold [not running -it may pull the skin off] water for at least ten minutes!

if its a serious burn, seek medical attention as soon as possible

DO NOT USE OIL BASED REMEDIES IT WILL HOLD IN THE BURN

apply some aloe and if u dont got that, then try toothpaste.

soak it in baby oil and leave it in the sun for a few hours

its just a first degree burn. nothing serious im sure. just put nice cold water on it. if that doesnt work, dont wrry. ur body will heal itself. just be patient...i know i didnt help much. but i tried! hope i helped kinda
