Tonsils getting removed!!?!
Question: ok, on March 18, i have to get my tonsils removed, which sux since im 17..... and i have to wait that long cuz thats wen my spring break is.....but everyone is telling me that i might wake up with my throat bleeding, and then go to the ER so they can close it back up. is this true? also, my throat hurts really bad, like in the mornings its hard for me to swallow cuz of how swollen they r. is there anyway i can make the swelling go down and to make it not hurt so bad? its jus getting worse and worse..... and i keep losing my voice. like every 5 minutes i have to clear my throat otherwise no one can hear me. anything i can do about that? thank you!

I can tell you that it's gonna suck but I've never heard that stuff about bleeding. Who ever told you that was just messing with you.
Everyone says that you get to eat ice cream and all that but the truth is that you won't be wanting to eat anything for at least a few days after you get um out.
Plan to feel crappy for about a week and veg out on the TV/computer .
And till you get em out the symptoms you have will continue : (
Trust me though-it will be far worth it in the end and you'll NEVER have to deal with um again.

That is so not true, and you should gargle with hot salt water to take care of that problem.
No, It doesn't hit they cut them out then once its done you can eat whatever you want.. Until then you gotta eat alot of Ice-cream
