What hurts worse, breaking or dislocating a bone?!

Question: dislocating, when i broke my arm i was playing basketball and never really felt much pain, but when i dislocated my finger i felt it and it was extremely painful, also they have to reset it and you feel that pain again and when your expecting it it is worse. Also if you dislocate a joint once you are more likely to do it again but when you break a bone it is much less likely to ever break again

idk about dislocating
but i broke my ankle a couple years ago and the pain wasnt that bad actually

That's like asking which is worse, shooting yourself in the left foot or shooting yourself in the right foot. They both hurt like a booger.

depends how much the injured area is moved becuase one of the main causes of pain is the friction of bone on bone. Having worked as a paramedic I found i could relieve pain in a fracture more easily than a dislocation through applying traction. For eg if the femur has a mid shaft fracture, traction that pulls the broken ends away from each other so they cant rub will reduce that cause of pain. A dislocation on the other hand is much harder to relocate through first aid traction because there are more structures around the joint

Too many variables to answer. It depends on the type of break and the location of the break/dislocate...

Once there is a dislocate, it gets easier to do...and after a while, they can hurt like heck...

The hands and feet have a gazillion nerve endings to facilitate grip and dexterity where the shoulder may not have as many...
