My sleeping schedule screwed me over?!


Question: OK. I'm a very busy high school girl.
Last night, I was really hot and only got 45 minuted of sleep. I got up 7 minutes ago, and am chugging an energy drink to get me up. I have to leave for school in 25 minutes.
I'll be good for about the first 4 hours today, but they I have to run the mile, and I'll be shot by then.
I'm going to have a BUTTLOAD of homework tonight, and I'm afraid that I'll just be too tired to do it.
What should I do?

Can you squeeze a power nap in anywhere? The best amount of time to nap is 15 minutes, any longer and your body will get confused. I think before you do any homework you should try and nap for this short while and you should get some more energy. Eat bananas for the energy in them as well. Drink plenty of water if you start feeling drowsy, this should help a bit. Good luck!

Go to bed earlier, maybe sleep without a blanket if you are so hot, maybe get a fan....

try to stay off the energy drinks...they eventually make you crash and burn later in the day.

Did you know that an apple has the same effect if not better than coffee to wake you up.

well at least "somebody"s gettin screwed around here.

caffeine is your friend :D it can be your new homework buddy!

Try relaxation techniques before bed.

everybody have this kind of problem in High School.
do some meditation to concentrate.

Either take a nap as soon as you get home (but no longer then
an hour) then do your homework or do as much of your home-
work as you can and then get up a little earlier in the morning
and finish up your homework.

sleep well(8 hours a day)

You are not the only one with that kind of a problem....:)....Im 15 and Im used to sleeping for only 6 hours-At the end of the week Im exhausted because I go to bed at 24:00 and gets up at 6:15...so u can relax at the weekend :)

Stay at home and get some rest and watch day time television Montel, Jerry Springer, and Martha Stewart and fall asleep. then wake up do work and go to sleep again and go to school tomorrow :D if you are all ready at school, go to the nurses office and tell her your stomach hurts real bad and you've got a migraine and you feel like your about to pass out.... this is what i did in high school! Sometimes you just need rest, there are too many stressful things in our lives, and sometimes it is better to rest and do what is best for our health.
